Mtonjaneni Lodge is set amongst the majestic hills next to Dingaan's Spring, overlooking the tranquil "Valley of the Kings" in Zululand. The Lodge is owned by Nico and Rina Harris. It is within easy access from the R34, a major route between Johannesburg and Durban via Melmoth.

Driving to Mtonjaneni over the passes, one is left in awe as you view the beauty and magnificence of creation.  This tranquil and rustic lodge hidden under a thatch roof welcomes tourists, business people and locals for an experience of the historical culture that prevails,  a weekend getaway or just a night away on business -  Mtonjaneni Lodge has it all.

The view from the verandah overlooking the vast valleys is breathtaking and leaves you with a feeling of belonging.

The open fireplace literally draws one to share its warmth, a feeling that is further enhanced by the congenial atmosphere createdby the abundance of wood furnishings around the beautiful bar,  displaying mounted wildlife trophies.

Homemade breakfast, lunch and dinners are served in a cozy, well positioned dining area.  A restaurant & bar menu is available for guests and day visitors.  The lodge is a superb venue for private and conference functions.
